Sheila (O’Riordan) Duggan of Dedham, formerly of Brighton, and Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland passed away on March 3, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Charles Duggan. Devoted mother of Katherine Spagnoli and her husband Stephen of Burlington, Lynda Ciarcia of NH, and Dan Duggan and his wife Pamela of Medfield. Dear sister of the late Patrick, Catherine (Ryan), Thomas, Cornelius, Michael, John Joseph, Maurice, James, and Timothy. Loving grandmother of Ryan and Eric Spagnoli, Madison and Jason Ciarcia, Samantha, Charles, and Daniel Duggan, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Charlie and Sheila moved to Boston in 1965 and started their family soon after. Sheila’s family was her pride and joy. She volunteered countless hours for Oak Square Little League and the Our Lady of Presentation minstrel shows. She loved her grandchildren dearly and bragged about them constantly. Sheila worked for 34 years at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in medical records.
Funeral from the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton on Saturday, March 9th at 9:00am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St., Brighton at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visiting Hours, Friday, March 8th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in the Funeral Home.
