Stratford Skalkos Obituary
Stratford B. Skalkos, born November 25,1945 in Massachusetts, passed away on February 19, 2025, due to heart failure at the age of 80 years old. Straty or Stan, as some knew him, grew up in Lynn and Peabody, MA among an extensive family of Greek immigrants and spoke Greek fluently. He graduated from the University of Maryland which led him to a variety of careers in business. His most recent career, chartering private jets, was a passion he enjoyed due to the variety of challenges and interesting clients, many of whom became close friends. Stratford loved to travel, entertain and was a wonderful chef like his beloved mother, Elizabeth. His infectious laugh and compelling storytelling will be missed by all. His remains will be located with his parents and brother, William, at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn, MA.
