Suzanne (Browning) Scanlon

Suzanne (Browning) Scanlon of Dedham passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 27, 2026. She was born in Brighton on July 18, 1960 to the late Bruce Browning and Patricia Shaw.

Suzanne was deeply dedicated to her work, working for Goodwin Procter LLP for over 30 years. She approached it each day with commitment, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. She took great pride in all she did and earned the respect of those who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Devoted mother of Sean Scanlon of Los Angeles, CA, Lyndsay Scanlon of Canton and the late Mollie Scanlon. Cherished sister of George Browning and his wife Debbie McLaughlin of Gloucester, Jennifer Ywuc and her husband Joe of Beverly and the late Elissa Clifton and her late husband Daniel. Former wife of Robert Scanlon of Brighton and step-daughter of Jann Browning of Revere.   Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave (near Brighton Courthouse), BRIGHTON on Thursday March 5th at 8:30am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Columbkille Church, 321 Market St, Brighton at 9:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment private. Visiting hours on Wednesday March 4th from 4–7pm in the funeral home.

Suzanne was a longtime friend of Bill W.
