Theodosia (Soula) (Katsantoni) Tzimorangas passed on June 6,2026 comfortably in her home surrounded by her family. Soula was the loving wife of predeceased George J Tzimorangas. Soula and George were married for 51 wonderful years and settled their family in Brookline. Soula was the mother of John G Tzimorangas and Faythe Abber-Van Dam of Rockland and Rita G Tzimorangas-Mooney and Bob Mooney of Brookline.
Soula was the adored Yiayia (Grandmother) of George J and Christopher M Tzimorangas and Alexandra G Mooney. She always referred to her grandchildren as her “3 Diamonds”. Her life’s priority was her grandchildren, family and spending as much time with them as possible.
Her joy was her family and cooking Greek dishes for her family and friends especially her amazing hand-made spanakopita. She also enjoyed gardening her flowers, plants and vegetables, especially tomatoes.
Soula (Katsantoni) Tzimorangas was born in the village of Platykampos, Larissa-Thessalia, Greece on July 10, 1937. Daughter of Dimitrios Katsantonis and Anthe (Metalios) Katsantoni of Platykampos. Sister of Areti (deceased), Freida, Zoi (deceased) and Janie. She also leaves many cousins, nieces, and nephews here in the US and overseas. She immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1956 and settled in Manchester, New Hampshire where she met George in 1961.
Soula worked in the factories of Manchester N.H. before becoming a hairdresser. She worked many decades as a hairdresser in Brookline where she settled with her family and raised her children. Soula loved the interaction with her clients and many of them became her close friends. She also loved summers on the Cape and going to Florida for the winters.
A private family service and burial is planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Good Sheppard
