Thomas M. Mooney, Jr. of Brighton, passed away peacefully at home on October 3, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Susan Mary (Sweet) Mooney. Devoted father of Kathryn DiPierro and her husband Mark of Boylston, Colleen Riedl and her husband Bradley of Needham, and Kerry Mooney of Brighton. Loving grandfather of Thomas, Lucas, Nicholas, and Maryn DiPierro, Brielle, Clara, and Bradley Riedl, Jr. Dear brother of Kathleen “Kathy” Pascoe of VA, Brian Mooney of AZ, and William “Billy” Mooney of Westford. Son of the late Thomas M. Mooney, Sr. and Anna (Mitchell). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Lehman Reen McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton on Friday, October 11th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 28 Commonwealth Ave., Chestnut Hill at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Visiting Hours on Thursday, October 10th from 4pm to 8pm in the funeral home.
