On March 23, 2023, Wai King Moy passed away peacefully. She was 84 years old and resided in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Wai King was the daughter of Chek Fan Lee and Ngang Yiu Chan and was born in Canton, China. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 22. She was the beloved wife of the late John Chao Jung Moy. Devoted mother of Lilly Y. Gillan of Arlington, MA, Victor W. Moy, and his wife Iman Moy of Billerica, MA, and the late Vincent G. Moy. Loving grandmother of Bryan, Christopher, Laura, and Ryan. Sister of Salina Chu and her husband Danny Chu, Elina Chan and her husband Chuck Chan, Wendy Li and her husband Bentley Little, and the late Jackson Li. Sister-in-law of Allen, Arthur, and Alice Moy. Aunt to several loving nieces and nephews: Fanny, Henny, Susan, Emerson, Josie, and Jayden.
Wai King loved to spend time with her grandchildren, going to the park and beach. She enjoyed celebrating special occasions with family, going out to Dim Sum, and entertaining family and friends in her home. She also played some basketball when she was younger.
Visiting Hours in the Lehman, Reen, McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., Brighton on Friday, March 31st from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service on Saturday, April 1st from 10:00am to 11:30am in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery.
