William F. Ford of Swampscott, MA passed away after a long illness on February 28. He was born in Brighton, MA July 4, 1956. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1974 and received an Associate’s degree in Business from Bunker Hill Community College. He worked as an EMT for Stavis Ambulance from 1980-1988 before he became a police officer for The Boston Housing Authority. He was later promoted to Sergeant. He retired from the Housing Authority in 2013.
He leaves behind his girlfriend MaryJane Maher, his former wife Victoria G. Ford, sons William P. Ford and his husband Christopher Chandler, Kevin J. Ford, Thomas G. Ford and his wife Amanda Ford. He also leaves his brother Henry Ford and wife Laurie Ford, sisters Rose Noseworthy and Margaret Costello and husband Peter Costello. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and a great niece and nephew as well as several cousins.
