In Loving Memory of William “Liam” Carter
William “Liam” Carter passed away peacefully at home in Brighton, surrounded by family, on October 13, 2024. Originally from Wormhole, Galway, Ireland, Liam was a devoted husband to Marie and a caring brother to Tommy, Marie, Carmel, Pakie, Johnny, Martin, and Michael.
Liam was an avid outdoorsman and a passionate Harley Davidson enthusiast. He loved animals and had many cherished dogs over the years. He was also deeply involved in the local GAA scene back home in Ireland.
He is survived by 24 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, and his many loyal friends in both Boston and Galway. Liam was the son of the late Patrick and Maureen (Joyce) Carter.
Visiting hours will be held at Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave, near the Brighton Courthouse, on Thursday, October 17th, from 4 PM to 8 PM. Family and friends are invited to attend.
A Funeral Mass will take place in Galway, Ireland. In lieu of flowers, donations in Liam's memory may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice, 333 Wyman Street, Waltham, MA 02451.
